¹⁸ So ^(A)the two of them cut a covenant before Yahweh; and David stayed at Horesh while Jonathan went to his house.

¹⁹ Then ^(B)Ziphites came up to Saul at Gibeah, saying, “Is David not hiding with us in the strongholds at Horesh, on ^(C)the hill of Hachilah, which is on the ^[a]south of ^[b]Jeshimon? ²⁰ So now, O king, according to all the desire of your soul to come down, come down here; and ^(D)our part shall be to surrender him into the king’s hand.”
